9/28/2011 ACE NewsACE Launches New Billboard Campaign Seems like an obvious statement, right? A child's future shouldn't be limited by...well...anything. Certainly not their address. But for too many children in low-income communities this is the reality. Yes, things are improving in Denver, thankfully, and we must continue on this course and continue to support this work. But for thousands of kids today the changes are coming too slowly. More must be done to save children now - immediately - from schools that are letting them down. Begining today and for the next month, you'll see our Zip code billboard in seven locations around Denver. (We're indebted to the good people at CBS Outdoors and Radius Media Holdings for their generosity. The NBA lockout opened up some space which they generously donated to ACE). This simple message is just the opening volley in what will be a sustained and influential campaign launching in 2012 to increase awareness of the crisis facing our K-12 public education system, and to promote solutions that will ultimately lead to our vision -- that every child has access to a quality education.
