12/19/2011 ACE NewsThank You As we gather in these closing days of the year with family and friends to give thanks and celebrate the holidays, we felt it only fitting to share my thanks with you. It has been another challenging year for many families, as financial uncertainty continues to cloud the horizon. For too many, making ends meet is a daily struggle. This is the harsh reality for the families served by ACE Scholarships; and yet despite their hard times—or perhaps, in part, because of them—these families take the time to give thanks. It is our pleasure to share a handful of letters from thankful parents and children who are grateful for the support they have received from ACE this year. The letters differ in length and eloquence, but the message throughout each is the same—thank you. As you’ll see in the letters, ACE is making a tremendous difference in the lives of these parents and the 1,200 children on scholarship. That’s truly something to be grateful for. On behalf of our students, their families, our Board and the staff at ACE, we hope you have a wonderful holiday season and send warmest wishes for the New Year. Stephen dreaded high school, but with help from ACE he was able to attend a small private school where his special needs were met (read the letter).
