How Federal Tax Credit Scholarships Work

Who Qualifies?

Scholarship Uses & Eligible Education Expenses

  • Tuition and fees
  • Academic tutoring
  • Special needs services
  • Room and board
  • School uniforms
  • Transportation
  • Books, supplies, and other equipment which are incurred in connection with the enrollment or attendance at a public, private, or religious school
  • Supplementary items and services (including extended day programs) which are required or provided by a public, private, or religious school in connection with such enrollment or attendance
  • Expenses for the purchase of any computer technology or equipment or Internet access and related services. This does not include expenses for computer software designed for sports, games, or hobbies unless the software is predominantly educational in nature.

Scholarship Eligibility Notice: Making, recommending or facilitating a contribution to ACE Scholarships FTC SGO does not cause a student to become eligible for or receive a scholarship from ACE Scholarships FTC SGO nor does a contribution increase the likelihood of a student’s receipt of a scholarship. All scholarship awards are determined independently based on student eligibility, available funds and applicable law, as well as applicable program policies and procedures, which may be modified from time to time. Donors may not direct or recommend scholarships to any specific student, and any such direction or recommendation will not be considered in the award process. Contributions made by a household (or by any person or entity related to or affiliated with such household) are not considered in the scholarship selection process, and no quid pro quo benefits are provided in exchange for contributions.
