Make Educational Opportunity Possible in Delaware

Great news! Delaware is a qualified ACE Scholarships state.

ACE Scholarships has served Delaware families since 2023, helping students access educational opportunities that work best for them. Delaware has not yet opted into the Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC), but you can help make it possible.

Eligible Delaware taxpayers can commit now to make a qualifying EFTC contribution through ACE Scholarships starting January 1, 2027. Your contribution can help students in participating states while you encourage Delaware to opt-in.

Delaware students cannot currently receive EFTC-funded scholarships because the state has not opted in. You can encourage the governor to opt-in and help make EFTC-funded scholarship opportunities possible for eligible students in the state.

Building Delaware’s Future – One Student at a Time

animated number 25

More than 35,500 (25%) of Delaware’s K–12 students may be eligible for an ACE scholarship, yet many remain stuck in underperforming schools solely due to their zip code. Every child deserves access to a quality education—no matter where they live.

Over 70% of families WANT school choice, but only a fraction have access. ACE Scholarships is changing that by offering partial scholarships to eager students.
