[Press Release] Statement from ACE Scholarships on the Educational Choice for Children Act Following the House Ways and Means Committee Vote
Denver, CO, May 14, 2025 – ACE Scholarships CEO Norton Rainey today issued the following statement regarding the Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA) following the House Ways and Means Committee’s inclusion of the initiative in the committee-passed reconciliation bill:
“The school choice movement just took one giant step forward towards a future where every family has the power to choose the best education for their children – regardless of their income or zip code.
The ECCA will help empower parents in all 50 states, creating opportunities for children to grow, succeed, and lead fulfilling lives.
Educational freedom is the key to solving America’s most pressing challenges. It can lift individuals out of poverty, strengthen families, build safer communities, and help secure a strong and prosperous future for our country.
When you change education, you change everything. The ECCA will be a powerful force for the change we need.
We urge all congressional lawmakers to support this important legislation.”
